Efata Baptist Church is located in Metro-Lima in the municipality of Villa El Salvador. It was established in 1971 by Deaf missionary Vernon Miller. Currently there are two annex ministries in Lima; one deaf and one hearing ministry and three other daughter ministries in various parts of the country.
Efata Baptist Church currently averages 190 on Sunday morning. Approximately 100 of these are deaf. There are currently three young people studying in Bible colleges for full-time ministry from our church. Our goal is to reach the Deaf with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ so that one day they too will be in Heaven, and will hear!
