Margot is a dear young deaf girl whose early life was in turmoil. Her mother died and her father took her twelve year old sister to be his new wife. An aunt, out of concern for her safety, brought sweet Margot to Lima where she worked as a maid. She was looking for an orphanage to leave her and found Efata. She now lives in our residential school year round, because her home high in the mountains near Cuzco is so far away. She has learned to read and write, and most importantly, she has learned of the love of Christ. She has been saved and baptized.
