“Somebody needs to care enough to bring the Deaf to the feet of Jesus!”Joe Kotvas – Pastor/Missionary

I John 2:2

“And He is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.”

This verse contains a wonderful truth that every person around the world should be given an opportunity to hear. I am thankful today that the Christian can stand on this truth and never have to worry that it may change. Most deaf people around the world have not had the opportunity to learn this truth.

September and October included meetings in Wyoming, South Dakota, Colorado, and Texas. We have been in many good churches and have met many people who desire to see other people come to know Christ. Melissa and the girls stayed with Melissa’s parents for the most of October. Cory will be going to most of our meetings in November without them as well. They are taking a break from traveling for a while.

We were able to take a couple of days and go to Yellowstone National Park and camp. We were with a group of nearly 30 people. All of Cory’s family (from Wyoming) came along with our pastor and his family (from Florida) and one other pastor and his family (from Tennessee). We spent two nights in tents with the temperature down around 30 degrees each night. It was a good time of relaxation and fellowship. The wonders of the creation point to the fact that there is a God.

Please continue to pray for Amanda. She has three more dental appointments and then she should be done. We were able to purchase a dental plan to help cover all the work. Also we had some extra funds come in to help pay for the rest. Praise the Lord for His continual provision!

Thank you to the little girls who take time and send notes and letters to our girls. They love hearing from you and getting things in the mail. It is a blessing to know that you remember our girls. Also thanks to the adults who help them.

Please continue to pray that our support will be raised so that we can go to the field. We are getting closer to finishing, but still have more praying and traveling to do. We desire to be done. Also, please pray for the deaf. They need to know the Saviour.

We would ask that you pray for the people of Peru who went though the earthquake some weeks ago. There were some pastors and churches who lost almost all they had.

Thank You for Your Faithful Prayers,

Cory, Melissa, Amanda, Elaina, and Olivia Ricker
